Dear Awana families past and present,

Dale Evangelical Free Church has created our own custom Wednesday night children’s program for your students for the 2024-2025 school year. Much of what we loved from our former program remains the same:

• The activities your children love and the Biblical focus and Scripture memorization you appreciate will NOT change; and
• We will continue using age-appropriate curriculum.

What has changed:

• We desire children to have a firm grasp of God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation. To that end, our new three-year program focuses this year on a comprehensive overview of the Old Testament.
• Our theme is 2 Corinthians 5:20: “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” [NASB]
• Our aim is for the children in our program to not only memorize scripture but understand it. Weekly group time will allow discussion about the night’s focus and help the children to apply to their lives in practical ways.

Thank you for sending your children to our Wednesday night children’s program. We are excited to build on the great work that’s been done in this ministry and hope your children will join us when we start again at 6:30pm Wednesday, September 11, 2024! We will have dinner followed by an overview of the new program and concluding with the ice cream truck.
